This policy explains how Elegatra Infralux Pvt Ltd ("Elegatra", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in India with its registered office at 1 Shivaji Marg, Hewett Road, Lucknow 226018 (GSTIN 09AAICE1897N1ZU), handles your personal data when you use this website and send us an enquiry. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025 ("DPDP"). For the purposes of DPDP, we are the Data Fiduciary and you are the Data Principal.

1. What we collect

When you use the "Enquire" button, you enter:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your city

We also receive the name of the piece you enquired about. We do not ask for your email, we do not run user accounts, and you should not include any sensitive personal data in your message.

2. How your enquiry reaches us

Our enquiry button does not send data to our own server. When you tap it, your details are placed into a WhatsApp message that you send to us from your own device. WhatsApp, operated by Meta, delivers and stores that message and may process it on servers outside India; Meta's own privacy terms apply to its handling. We receive the message in our WhatsApp business inbox and use it to reply to you.

This website also loads fonts from Google Fonts. To serve them, Google receives your device's IP address. Google Fonts does not set cookies through this site.

3. Why we use it

One purpose only: to read and respond to your enquiry. We do not use your data for marketing or profiling, and we will not use it for a new purpose without asking you first.

4. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give by choosing to send us the WhatsApp message. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Section 6).

5. Cookies and analytics

We currently set no cookies and run no website analytics. If this changes, we will update our Cookie Statement and ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages for 24 months from the date of your enquiry, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is earlier. After that we delete them, including from our WhatsApp records.

7. Your rights

Under DPDP you can ask us to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Correct or update it
• Erase it
• Withdraw consent at any time — as easy as giving it; once you withdraw we stop processing and delete your data unless the law requires us to keep it
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you
• Raise a grievance with us (Section 9)

8. Children

This site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you are under 18, do not send an enquiry without consent from a parent or guardian.

9. Grievances

If you have a concern about how we handle your data, contact our Grievance Officer:

We will respond within the timelines required under DPDP. If you are not satisfied, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the data we hold and limit access to those who need it to reply to you. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above will change, and material changes will be noted on the site.
